Field Services
A welding field service refers to work that is performed on site, rather than in a shop or factory setting, making it convenient for the customer. Services can include repair work, maintenance, and new construction projects. Different welding processes may be used depending on the project. MIG, TIB, and stick welding are the most common techniques used to bond materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Field service welders may also be responsible for setting up and maintaining welding equipment, as well as ensuring the safety of a work site.
